Pseudoboehmite is a specialized form of aluminum oxide that has a higher water content than typical boehmite. This product is composed of Al2O3 and H2O and can be used as a raw material for making activated alumina and catalysts. Pseudoboehmite is also commonly used in Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCUs) along with other catalysts such as HYZSM5.
